My Introduction: |
|
I do not wish to command or control any man, and I do not wish for any man or anyone else to command or control me. God has given freedom and agency to every human being. I consent only to God guiding and directing my life, because He alone is pure and without sin. If no one can live with that understanding, then I am completely at peace choosing to live on my own. I would rather live quietly, comfortably, and happily by myself, and I truly do not mind that choice. – At times, I feel weary when others assume they understand my thoughts or intentions. No one can fully know another person’s heart or mind except God. If someone chooses to hold negative thoughts, that is their personal journey and responsibility. It does not define me, nor does it belong to me. – I have learned that while many people try to live correctly in their outward actions, true peace begins with disciplining our thoughts. As President Russell M. Nelson once taught, our thoughts influence everything we do. I listened carefully to those teachings and chose to apply them in my own life. – Over the years, I have also come to see that repeatedly delaying repentance for many years, while continuing in harmful behavior, becomes deeply tiresome and frustrating to me; and the older one becomes, the harder it often is to be taught or to change. – My life has become lighter and more peaceful. Because of that, I choose not to engage in repetitive negativity or unnecessary conflict. When conversations feel unhealthy, I step back quietly. To anyone who approaches me with criticism, ego, or disrespect, I simply say this: I wish you well. Your words do not control me. And I choose not to respond with anger or argument. – I choose dignity. – For clarity and transparency, images 7–10 in this album were created using AI. |
